Brett Van Deusen is a Video Producer and Sound Mixer living in Brooklyn, NY. He moved to New York in 2004 to study and start his career in the film industry. After two years in film school at The School of Visual Arts (SVA), Brett began freelancing as a Sound Mixer within the film industry. During 13 years of freelancing, Brett has worked extensively on many different types of projects and formats, including: full length feature films, short films, documentaries, commercials, web videos, industrial/corporate videos, theatre productions, panel discussions, live events and music events.

Brett began fully producing video content in 2014, traveling to Equatorial Guinea (Africa) to work with a small NGO to produce a promotional video. Since then he has produced a number of other videos including: Space with Sarah Youtube channel, Enquete Gowanus p1 & 2, and several event videos at the Company Amphitheater space. His goals as a video producer are to seek out clients that need video production services for content that also align with his interests and values, including: science, technology, education, humanitarian aid, outdoor activities, startups and any combination thereof.
